Child Protection Policy

Primary to GCSE Tutoring has a child protection policy in place and follows NSPPC child protection policies. We aim to provide a safe environment where children can learn in protected surroundings under the care of qualified or professionally experienced and DBS checked tutors. The child protection policy should be followed by all teachers and tutors, as well as parents and helpers at school trips.

Our safeguarding officer is Leanne Chase, please contact Leanne via email if you have any concerns regarding safeguarding.

EQUAL OPPORTUNITIES

Primary to GCSE Tutoring believes that all children regardless of age, disability, gender, racial heritage, religious belief, sexual orientation or identity, have a right to equal participation at Primary to GCSE Tutoring and equal protection from all types of harm or abuse.

WE WILL SEEK TO KEEP CHILDREN AND YOUNG PEOPLE SAFE BY:

Valuing them, listening to, and respecting them.

Adopting child protection practices through procedures and a code of conduct for staff and volunteers.

Providing effective management of staff and volunteers through supervision, support and training.

Encouraging an open-door policy where parents can attend lessons without notice and be a presence for as long as they wish.

Recruiting staff and volunteers safely, ensuring all necessary checks are made.

We are committed to reviewing our policy and good practice annually.
